In an effort to help provide humanitarian services in the Gastelum area of Cabo San Lucas. we have raised funds, first to help build a cinderblock house where a wooden shack once stood before burning to the ground. A Mother, Father, and three small children were literally left out on their dirt road, to fend for themselves before being taken in by a neighbor until other arrangemens could be made. The remains after the fire looked like this.

Then, after work was performed, and used beds were obtained, the new structure looked like this.

After that, we had a raffle, and asked for donations to provide an electical meter so this family could have electricity, something they have never had before, and the installation is currently in the works. The donations were substantial enough to be able to buy bicycles for all three of the children, none of whom have ever even learned how to ride one. You should have been there to see the expressive smiles on these children’s faces…clearly something worth witnessing in person! Kind of a small miracle…
A special thanks goes to all those that attended the party, and especially those that contributed to the raffle and made donations to help those that are less fortunate than us.
A very special thanks goes to my wife Kathy, Ron, Ellen, Dotty, Doree, Dan, Michael and Jeff, all of whom spent hours organizing and orchestrating this fun and successful endeavor. Thank you!
Ricardo
