The FOLLOW UP…On the Quest to Tequila, Jalisco (This is Part #2. For Part #1, Check out “The TEQUILA Experience” under Message Board on your right!)
Well, you see, it’s like this…Yes, I got the case of tequila, and yes, I enjoyed every drop I tasted, and yes, I even shared some of it with others, especially with my wife, but what I didn’t know was that I was in for the experience of my life…yes, a trip to Tequila, Jalisco, just outside of Guadalajara.
My experience was an extraordinary one. I was picked up by one of the owners of La Cofradia, the distillery that generates Cabo Unico tequila, and then transported to the factory.
Therer are four rooms there for guests, with 32 more in the development stages. All I can say is that staying on premises is a MUST DO, so I did. I could try to write about my experiences there, but there really is no way to convey it or be able to share the energy there. I did, however, put together a couple of short youtube videos, hoping that you will get an idea of the magic of La Cofradia! Be prepared to be swept off your feet…IF VISITING LA COFRADIA IS NOT ON YOUR BUCKET LIST, IT SURE NEEDS TO BE. IT WILL BE A VERY ENLIGHTENING EXPERIENCE!!

On the distillery premises, you will find a very interesting place called the Traberna. This is absolutely my favorite place to spend time. The history of the Traberna may amaze you, and you can learn it in this short video. Check it out!
